Assists in the delivery of urgent care health and patient care management by effectively performing select Lead medical assistant and administrative/clerical duties.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies:

Current CMA certification required.
Current CPR certification required.
Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a medical office required.
Must have knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.
Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer to patient care.
Skilled in taking vitals and maintain medical records and recording test results.
Knowledge in medical abbreviations and terminology.
Knowledge in computer systems and applications, EMR experience a plus.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, co-workers, hospital administration.
Ability to exercise initiative, problem solving, and decision-making.
Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate’s Degree preferred.
