Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and prepare metal surfaces to ensure they are ready for coating. This includes removing rust, grease, dirt, and other contaminants.
Application of Wet Paint: Apply wet paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers. Ensure even coverage and proper thickness according to specifications.
Mixing and Matching Paints: Mix paints to achieve the desired color and consistency. Match paint colors to specifications or samples provided.
Operation of Equipment: Operate and maintain painting equipment such as spray guns, compressors, and paint booths. Adjust settings for optimal application.
Quality Control: Inspect painted items for defects such as runs, sags, or insufficient coverage. Touch up or reapply paint as necessary to meet quality standards.
Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper handling of hazardous materials.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including batch numbers, paint specifications, and inspection results.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment and booths. Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed to minimize downtime.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including production supervisors and quality inspectors, to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality output.

Qualifications:
