This position is located at MCAS Miramar, CA and will support the F-35 Program. Due to the dynamic environment supporting flying operations, and pilot training the incumbent may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule. Some travel may be required. This position will perform duties as a Security Generalist (SG). Duties will include, but are not limited to: assist instructors, students and visitors using facilities; operate badging and access control systems; monitor security camera systems; perform random entry/exit searches; enforce all DoN, local security procedures and practices, DoD Manual 5205.07 Vol 1-4, ICD 705, TSCO responsibilities, controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC; provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers; change combinations and generate SF 700s; assist in self inspections and prepare for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security inquiries; assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage in specified squadrons or Pilot Training Center (PTC), and additional duties as required/assigned. 1. Experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) or Government Program Security Officer (PSO). 2. Experience working in a military environment, specifically the USMC. 3. COMSEC knowledge / experience. 4. Prior experience teaching / instructing. 5. Prior experience maintaining Fixed Facility Checklists, classified material inventories, PERSEC records, and SOPs in support of Special Access Programs in accordance with DoD5205.07 SAP Volumes. 6. Experience with DISS, JPAS, and JADE. 1. Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program. 2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program if and when local mission requirements dictate. 3. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs). 4. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if/when mission requirements dictate. 4. Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials. 5. Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills. 6. knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.
