Compensation: $51-72/hour, DOE

Responsibilities
Work on multiple projects while balancing efforts to effectively provide project deliverables to meet fast paced deadlines while adhering to budgetary constraints
Work with in-house piping / mechanical design team to create piping / mechanical project designs. Work with project engineering team to review piping/mechanical packages provided by 3rd party engineering groups
Execute all aspects of piping / mechanical engineering based on a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts
Responsible for drawing setup and design documentation. Responsible for overseeing construction document development from initial design to issue for construction
Perform and reviews project cost estimating
Assist with developing, maintaining and reviewing piping and other relevant engineering standards
Provide construction support including bid evaluations, submittal reviews, responding to RFIs, providing filed support, conducting final walkthroughs, and developing punch list and “as-built” record drawings
Lead projects and multi-disciplinary tasks. Provide leadership and facilitates technical and management collaboration amongst project team members, and stakeholders
Communicate and work with stakeholders on a variety of issues including progress and status reports, scope, schedule, and budget
Track the progress of deliverables, technical input, and comment resolution. Manage workload and deliverables on multiple project within budgeted hours
Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost, and scheduling performance
Monitor project schedules regularly to determine any delays or deviations. Monitor fees and budgets; proactively reports problems to the appropriate Department Managers
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years in Engineering and chemical/refinery operations
5+ years experience in Project Management
Heavy Piping design implementation experience preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
AutoCAD, MS Project, Office, and SAP experience required
Familiarity with API, ASME and other relevant industry standards
