Reporting to the Senior Director, the Inpatient Nurse Manager Transplant will oversee a 24+ bed inpatient transplant unit with surgical transplant, stem cell transplant, bone marrow transplant, biopsies, leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma patients. Responsibilities of the Inpatient Nurse Manager Transplant include managing day-to-day operations of the unit, ensuring regulatory compliance, updating policy procedures, preparing for accreditation and surveys, monitoring the unit budget, and assisting the Nurse Educator to develop new-hire and current employee education programs. With a go-getter, positive attitude, the Inpatient Nurse Manager Transplant will be the department resource who is excited to mentor teams, educate individuals on best practices and techniques, a strong communicator working with multidisciplinary teams, and an advocate to their team, patients and patient families.
The Inpatient Nurse Manager Transplant will hold an active RN license, previous experience working with inpatient transplant and surgical transplant, and critical care patients, along with prior leadership experience within an acute care setting.
