Manages a team of 8 employees, providing training and assistance as well as overseeing design work\t
Develops comprehensive project plans and technical systematic solutions for engineering development projects\t
Conducts testing and reviews for errors and non-conformance\t
Distributes incoming workflows among designers and testers\t
Supports shop supervisors and production personnel with design criteria and design issues\t
Coordinates with production team regarding timeline for product release manufacturing\t
Assists production with troubleshooting product machining requirements and specifications\t
Supports sales staff for customer inquiries and quotes; assists with estimating in the quoting process, including supplying reference drawings and estimated engineering hours for completion
Requirements:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering preferred\t
At least 2 years of supervisory/management experience in manufacturing\t
3-5 years of relevant engineering experience in design\t
Ability to manage engineering projects including estimates, design, and production\t
Ability to read, understand, and create drawings and bills of materials and spreadsheets\t
Mechanical and electrical knowledge/testing experience\t
