We are seeking a talented Paid Media Manager to lead the paid media execution across digital channels including paid search. You will be a key contributor to the overall Prime Video campaign launch strategy, owning channel level objectives to maximize and optimize our marketing and media investments in a programmatic way driving brand equity, engagement, and subscriber acquisition.
You will collaborate with Prime Video marketing and media team members on bar raising paid search campaigns, delivering on campaign objectives through agency day to day ownership. Additionally, you will work closely with centralized Amazon teams who focus on developing automated business solutions for your needs. You should have a growth mindset with a passion to dive deep, strong project management skills, a high level of customer focus, and a track record in transforming marketing performance data into digestible, actionable insights. You are a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, have a strong attention to detail, and are excited to work in a fast-paced and energizing environment.
Reporting to the Manager, Paid Media Launch Management, you will drive marketing results including activations across campaigns for our top Prime Video content, maximizing agency resources while campaign managing their SOWs, and identifying optimization opportunities with the north-star goal of driving customer engagement and retention efficiently and at scale. Utilizing an existing tool set across biddable media channels - you will raise the bar and expand our opportunities into new partners and ad tech opportunities. Additionally you will provide knowledge share opportunities to educate other launch managers across Google CM360 and other platforms to effectively execute paid search activations across the customer journey. You will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas, and ensure best practices for Prime Video growth.
Key job responsibilities
Owning goals and performance metrics for digital marketing campaigns; monitoring regularly to understand effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
Serve as the Google day to day lead for Prime Video US, properly communicating and evangelizing techs value propositions, processes, platform execution, customer engagement techniques and industry related topics.
Own day to day relationships with Prime Video agency teams and decision-makers across the US paid media team driving stakeholders to execute on effective media plans that align with the overall marketing strategy. This includes management and reporting of budgets, goal-pacing, overall performance & digital marketing trends to support Prime Video service and title support, test & learn framework, and work with Prime Video marketing managers to evaluate opportunities to inform product roadmaps and flywheel through various projects. Provide consultation on platform offerings to help inform product team and roadmaps.
Facilitate and communicate comprehensive analysis and insights of campaigns and experiments, and make actionable recommendations in digestible form to senior leadership and with agencies who will execute campaigns.
Coordinate with marketers in the US and globally to drive execution of marketing experiments and campaign / channel holdouts.
Manage external partner relationships with Google and Prime Video digital marketing agencies, and identify new biddable media opportunities for testing; own any platform related test & learn frameworks/playbooks working to drive high standards with use of platform (including collaboration with paid media leads); support media leads with joint business plan execution and tracking with Google and agencies.
Understand the competitive media landscape and keep abreast of industry trends to identify new opportunities to drive programmatic strategy to deliver results that directly contribute to our business goals.
Improve biddable media program operations and management by identifying tools and mechanisms for automation, efficiency, and scale.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in entertainment/media industries
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills and strong business acumen
- Understanding of marketing measurement methodologies (econometric modelling, brand uplift studies, etc.), causal inference, and experiment design and analysis
- Depth of knowledge within advertising tech solutions including Google CM360
- Strong leadership and communication (written and verbal) skills with multiple stakeholders including senior leadership
- Experience planning, executing, and scaling multi-channel paid media programs with a performance marketing goal
- Understanding of earned media strategies including SEO and content marketing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
