The Time for Tots Program offers a dynamic and immersive learning experience, blending hands-on activities to reinforce fundamental concepts like numbers, the alphabet, and small/large motor development. As an Instructor, you will be an integral part of a program that engages youth in a diverse range of enriching activities. From captivating story time sessions to fostering teamwork through group games, and unleashing creativity with arts and crafts, the curriculum caters to the multifaceted development of young minds. Children explore shapes and colors, participate in both outdoor and indoor play, and eagerly anticipate special holiday events, creating a well-rounded educational journey. Joining the Time for Tots Program means becoming a facilitator of joy, exploration, and educational growth for the next generation.
Instructors, under general direction, provide specialized recreation and/or education programs at various locations throughout the City. This is a broad class designed to cover several diverse areas of expertise that will allow the City to hire individuals with the skills and knowledge appropriate to the planned activity.

Work Performed
Duties may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
Teaching specialized arts and crafts programs
Instruction in various sports skills
Teaching appropriate social skills
Instruction in lifesaving skills
Qualifications
Education:
High school graduation or satisfactory equivalent (GED).
Highly Desired Qualifications:
3+ years experience teaching youth ages 3-5
Knowledge in extracurricular activities for youth ages 3-5
