What you’ll do: Organize and catalog audio programs. Utilize Archives database to reconstruct programs and make available for Audio On-Demand Interfacing with Programming staff as needed Assist with archival research & development projects for Programming as needed. Responsible to create regular/recurring on demand programming using the archives and recent events. Loads audio elements into music automation system. Properly enters song information and non-music elements into automation system maintaining required royalties data. Gains an understanding of the music scheduling software and automation system. Interfacing cross departmentally as needed. Develops an understanding of and perform audio editing, fades and inserting correct digital markers that sound the most appealing based on music/content selection and channel genre. What you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. 1+ years(s) of experience in Media Library Maintenance and Expansion and/or Metadata management. Strong knowledge of various programming genres. Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to pay attention to details and be organized. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must have legal right to work in the U.S. Position is Hybrid, requiring 2+ in-office days per week. Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), Google Sheets Basically knowledge of audio editing software (pro-tools, adobe audition) preferred. Previous use of Music Master, Zetta, Galaxy automations system. Must have legal right to work in the U.S. At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $44,000 to $50,200 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
