This individual will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the functions and activities of plant operations and building renovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews and evaluates existing programs, services, policies and procedures
- Monitors flow and quality of work to assure timely completion of workload and adherence to facility’s standards and regulations
- Prepares and manages departmental budgets, including the utilities energy savings program
- Manages and ensures regulatory compliance with the Joint Commission, State Health Department, EPA, DEP, ADA, UST, and other regulatory agencies
- Provides guidance, training and motivation to staff
- Monitors work performance and prepares performance evaluations for personnel
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Four year degree in relevant field, or equivalent training and experience
- Minimum of 4 years engineering or maintenance experience, to include some management experience
- Extraordinary customer service and quality attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
- Must have the ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
