Specific Responsibilities
Apache is seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Business Excellence (BE) team as an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Advisor. The OCM Advisor will lead the design and implementation of change strategies and plans to engage and motivate people to adopt transformation efforts. In addition to supporting project efforts the successful candidate will be a key contributor to the to the evolution of the BE Org. Change Management Office.
The BE Org. Change Management Advisor will support the OCM Manager in achieving successful change management and adoption objectives.
This role will be primarily responsible for the following:
Lead change management activities on strategic efforts to maximize employee engagement and adoption
Establish direction by partnering with key project stakeholders to develop fit for purpose change management strategies including assessing the size of the change, identifying impacted audiences and planning for successful adoption of the change
Enable the design, development, delivery and management of key communications.
Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs
Identify OCM impact and adoption risks; recommend mitigation strategies to the sponsor/project team
Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
Support the BE change portfolio to optimize consistency and delivery of operational and enterprise changes
Support the Change Management Office to continuously refresh its methodologies, tools and resources
Partner with other departments including IT, Corporate Communications and HR to rollout key project deliverables in keeping with defined processes
Create engaging content including infographics, presentations, and training videos to help users along their change journey
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's degree
7+ years of relevant experience
Big 4 consulting experience is highly desired
Deep expertise in change management principles and methodologies and experience in IT change efforts
Strong understanding of project management approaches, tools and project lifecycle phases and the integration of change management activities into the project plan
Proven change management delivery track record (strong planning and execution discipline, delivering high quality strategies and plans)
Able to produce high quality business-facing deliverables and activities to drive and sustain change
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization is critical
Strong executive presence and the ability to work with senior leaders
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically structure issues and determine recommended resolutions
Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations
Ability to generate and execute creative ideas related to making communications engaging and distinctive
Ability to work well under pressure and effectively and professionally navigate tough situations
Demonstrated commitment to integrity and confidentiality
Strong attention to detail, proactive, and highly organized
Excellent oral and written presentation skills
Adept with MS Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint; as well as proficiency with Adobe Captivate
CCMP and/or Prosci certification preferred
