Our client is seeking a driven and talented individual to join their Supply Chain team. While collaborating with cross-functional departments, you will play a key role in maximizing their technology and progressing their novel therapeutics. They are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients, both as individuals and as part of a team.
The Supply Chain Contracts and Cost Manager will provide support for the Supply Chain teams with financial oversight and is accountable for ensuring accurate supply chain budgeting/forecasting and operational support to facilitate informed decision-making.
This position is for a 12-month duration with a possible extension based on business needs. Responsibilities:
Manages the contract approval and signature process to ensure timely execution of all proposals, change orders, quotes, SOWs, etc.
Submit Purchase Requisitions for Supply Chain activities and ensure timely execution of POs
Supports annual budget drafting and forecasting for the Supply Chain department
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to secure approval of funds
Supports the Finance team with internal audits related to Supply Chain financial oversight
Reviews and approves vendor invoices to ensure appropriate billing, and tracks invoices against expected schedule
Reviews and manages proposed spend per our approval process
Regularly monitors department spend, providing updates to key stakeholders, as needed
Proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
University/college degree in health care or other scientifically related discipline is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred
4-6 plus years of relevant experience within or working cross-functionally with Supply Chain teams at a small to mid-size Biotech company.
Ability to understand and analyze information from financial and operational perspectives
Experience of working as part of a multi-functional team and clear written and verbal communication skills are critical for success in this role
Ability to work independently on routine assignments, or under supervision on new assignments.
Ability to handle highly complex tasks within a given timeline.
Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize and problem solve.
Computer proficiency (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, and/or experience with other Procurement Management Systems
Knowledge of Cobblestone, and/or experience with other Contracts Management Systems
The anticipated pay range for this role is $60-70/hr. The final pay rate will be dependent on several factors.
