Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to; overseeing the operational activities of various functional departments, distribution centers, or facilities. The main responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing reports, records, and directives, and collaborating with managers and supervisors to gather data for planning activities. The role may involve tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping materials or finished goods. This includes ensuring that materials are received from the correct vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, and available to meet production schedules. The position also involves maintaining the security and accountability of materials and goods through inventory control. The incumbent may evaluate current procedures and practices to improve departmental objectives and implement enhanced procedures. Other responsibilities include providing work direction, resolving problems, setting deadlines for timely completion of work, monitoring and analyzing costs, and preparing budgets.
Minimum Requirements:
Typically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities.
Critical Skills
- At least 3 years of operational experience
- Experience in inventory warehouse management
- Familiarity with Six Sigma Lean Principles
Additional Skills
- Thorough knowledge of Operations Management
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written) - Strong management skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least 2 years of managerial experience preferred
