Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group in collaboration with a leading government contracting firm is searching for a Federal Finance Consultant to provide critical support to a government agency's risk management program. The Consultant will work with a small team to assist government employees with implementing financial risk management and internal control activities. Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct research and gather relevant information.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients.
• Assist with documentation, assessment, and automation of financial processes.
• Identify and address financial control issues.
• Design and implement solutions to improve financial management.
  
  

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• U.S. Citizen eligible for a government security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Management (related field).
• 1+ years' experience in Federal Financial Management (DoD/DLA a plus).
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAGAS, and ICOFR accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
