HOW SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Support a development team’s activities for writing clean, maintainable, testable, and extensible code
- Contribute to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, and Testing)
- Collaborate with the team on Agile activities, including to estimation, iterative planning and retrospectives
- Manage code and other artifacts using Github or other code repositories
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: BS or equivalent degree in a technical field
- Experience: 8+ years of experience with 2 or more in a lead role. 5 + years .NET Full-Stack Software Developer experience with Microsoft Technology Stacks
- Technical skills: Minimum of five years of experience using Microsoft’s .NET platform including C# and ASP.NET; JavaScript; Azure DevOps (formerly Team Foundation Server); Continuous Integration (CI); Automated testing ( e.g. unit testing ); experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain an NIH Public Trust
- Skills and abilities: Able to work with development teams to work across the life-cycle so teams can consistently deliver high-quality software. Ability to think systemically about how the software is built to guide those systems to be most effective.
- Location: Hybrid (telework/Rockville customer location)

The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
