Duties and Responsibilities:
Elevate member and client relationships by delivering comprehensive planning advice
Provide solutions spanning Investments, Insurance, and Estate Planning products and services..
Conduct interviews with prospective clients, execute their financial plans, and schedule servicing appointments with a commitment to ensuring client satisfaction.
Document and maintain regular client annual review meetings through Salesforce to strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities for further expansion.
Utilize fee-based financial planning tools to assist clients in achieving their personal, education, business, retirement, and estate planning goals.
Conduct proposals for Investment, Insurance, and Estate Planning with our current Members.
Provide Financial Education services to Credit Union Members.
Achieve activity and production targets.
Stays current and analyzes market conditions. Continually educate oneself about financial and investment solutions and attend training sessions and required continuing education. Regularly meet and train with the Program Manager.
Champion investment and program initiatives with the credit union, offering consistent feedback to branch employees.
Service and conduct periodic reviews of existing client accounts, meeting with clients to ensure that investment objectives and goals align with the established plan.
Utilize all necessary technology and comply with fact-finding profile forms for regulatory reviews, including Salesforce.
Maintain visibility within the appropriate segments of the public to attract and retain potential clients, including the facilitation of client workshops and seminars on various topics.
Perform all job duties and office operations in alignment with established policies and procedures of the Credit Union, Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), and Broker Dealer.
Adhere to credit union policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and undergo annual compliance training and adhere to business continuity and vendor management policies.
Work in concert with CU leadership to develop, implement and administer small dollar robo-investing, trust, insurance and other related services.
Knowledge and Skills:

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Proficient grammar skills for the initiation, interpretation, and composition of documents, coupled with basic math skills.

Exemplary decision-making and problem-solving skills, especially in navigating highly diversified and complex financial planning issues. Proficient in the use of computers and general office equipment
Compensation:
The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $135,000. The income range is contingent on various factors, such as the applicant's skill, experience, and work location. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.

Minimum Education: Business Administration Or Finance Or in related field(s)
Minimum Certifications: FINRA (e.g., Series 7, 63, 65, 66) and state insurance licensing certifications (e.g., life and health insurance certification, property and casualty insurance).
Addtional Education Requirements Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
Minimum Experience: 12 years of financial service experience, including complex planning and sophisticated product offerings.
Minimum Skills: Extensive knowledge and/or experience in wealth management, portfolio management, investment strategy development, trust, and insurance services. Demonstrated knowledge of broker/dealer and RIA marketplace, financial principles, investment products, and world markets. Ability to execute key elements of the wealth planning process. Demonstrated organizational, critical thinking, and analytical skills relating to complex financial planning issues and situations. Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to build rapport with members, and an exemplary attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, deftly handle time-sensitive matters, meet strict deadlines, and accomplish sometimes confidential tasks. Demonstrated experience with office management software/tools (e.g. Google suite, Slack, Skype).
Preferred Experience: 15 years of financial service experience, including complex planning and sophisticated product offerings.
Preferred Skills: Ability to present ideas and solutions in non-technical, business-friendly terms. Ability to develop analytics from multiple streams of data, interpret trends, develop persuasive recommendations, and present information to varied audiences. Multilingual communication skills; fluent in Mandarin, Spanish, Korean and/or other languages beyond English.
