The Cancer Center Director of Nursing will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and throughout the country.

The Cancer Center Director of Nursing will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. Supported by 2 Managers and 2 Assistant Managers, this person will lead a fantastic team and busy department with over 500 FTEs. The staff here is passionate about the care they provide and are a happy and cohesive team, eagerly looking to welcome in a new Director.

The Cancer Center Director of Nursing will be in charge of overseeing that clinical care provided in the Cancer Center is compassionate and thorough. This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the CNO and other hospital managers to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital’s standards and values. The Director will also have command of budgeting and assure that the established budget is sufficient and followed. The Cancer Center Director of Nursing will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.
