The Pajaro Valley Unified School District annually hires coaches to prepare athletes for competition.
Coaches have responsibility for:
a. teaching sports techniques, playing rules, strategies and playing tactics;
b. conditioning athletes appropriately for activities requiring endurance, strength and agility;
c. supervising and conducting practices and contests safely; supervising locker rooms and buses;
d. teaching sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic and responsibility to one's team;
e. monitoring athletes' school attendance, grades and personal conduct;
f. responding to player injuries with approved first aid techniques;
g. managing uniforms, equipment and school facilities in a responsible manner;
h. provide coverage for absence of coaches.
Requirements / Qualifications
MATERIALS MATERIALS Aptos Junior High School is accepting applications for Boy's 7th Grade Soccer for the 2024-2025 school year. Boys Soccer Season (Sept. 9th-October 18th). The school supports approximately 600 students with an administration that understands the importance of the strong link between athletics and academics.
Employment with the Pajaro Valley Unified School District is not complete or official until applicants meet all pre-employment requirements. As part of the selection process, all new employees are required to provide the following information: new employees must be fingerprinted (paid by the District); TB test (paid by the employee); social security card; picture identification; CPR; and first aid
Comments and Other Information
