Job Abstract

Key Role:

Provide technical support and guidance to platform users during and after force training, exercises, TTP development, and/or mission rehearsals. Act as a subject matter expert on IT tools and technologies, offering consultation and advice on best practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in IT and training technologies to keep the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) platform relevant and cutting-edge. Analyze training data and feedback to identify platform usage trends, areas for improvement, and successes. Prepare reports, executive summaries, and PowerPoint presentations on PCTE activities and outcomes for USCYBERCOM senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as an IT Specialist or in the IT field
• Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience with cloud computing platforms
• Experience with cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Knowledge of IT systems, software, and tools
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Education

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in e-learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and training technologies
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Experience in capabilities development
• Knowledge of IT systems, including servers, networks, operating systems, and applications
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Master’s degree
• CompTIA CTT+ or Microsoft Certified Trainer Certification
• DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
