About the Role
IMAX is looking for an Exhibitor Marketing Coordinator to support our Exhibitor Marketing team on exhibitor marketing and relations, theatrical releases, and brand marketing. Coordinating both general consumer-focused marketing initiatives in addition to theatre-specific programs and support, you’ll support all IMAX theatres in Latin America to effectively assist in all aspects of exhibitor relations and marketing including theatre launch, sustaining marketing, IMAX film releases and brand marketing activations.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as the secondary day-to-day contact for each film launch and coordinate the execution of the below film marketing initiatives for Latin America: research (film and theatre operations), theatre marketing programs, theatre support materials/exhibitor relations, facilitate creative requests with external and internal partners, studio support, and recap of theatre marketing programs and efforts.
Support new theatre launches and existing exhibitors with training and information related to best practices to launch IMAX films and ensure they are adhering to IMAX brand guidelines.
Execute any cross-promotional opportunities that support the film and theatres in key markets
Play a key role in brand guardianship and ensure consistent brand voice across all channels
Contribute locally and collaboratively with overseas teams to expand on visual identities of the brand, collaborations, and internal initiatives
Develop email communications surrounding new and library film launches with the goal to maximize box office and encourage theatre participation
Track and update exhibitor brand creative deliverables as well as assist in the development of new brand assets with details on how they will be used by exhibitors
Support various theatre-related marketing programs including media planning, promotions, exhibitor events and industry conferences
Audience targeting and building strategy on multi-targeting groups (retargeting, engaged, similar titles, lookalike audiences, lifestyle/niche, purchasers), via advanced platforms (IG, IGS, FB, YT, TW, Snap, TikTok, Programmatic) with on-going optimization
Assist in executing partner digital on boarding: in-depth social audits, identifying growth trends, engagement rates, top performing content, audience insights, on-going audience analysis
Assist with building of decks for external or internal presentations and pitches
Track and update calendar of exhibitor programs, conferences, new theatre openings and theatre re-launches, and other key events
What You’ll Need:
2+ years of work experience in a marketing role required; Entertainment industry experience preferred
Must be fluent in written/spoken Spanish and/or Portuguese
Proficient analytical skills including the ability to conduct research, compile, organize and analyze information, formulate and effectively present conclusions to others
Basic understanding of creative deliverables including digital, AV and print assets
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
Internet social/media savvy
Nice to Have:
Outstanding organizational, project and time management skills with the proven ability to organize, prioritize and successfully manage multiple and shifting priorities, projects, and deadlines
Stellar communication and interpersonal skills, diplomatic, tactful, customer-focused with a professional phone manner and ability to interact professionally with staff members at all levels of the organization, and other external clients
