Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to join our Production Support Engineering Team in King of Prussia, PA! The successful candidate will have experience in electronics assembly, circuit card assembly, and/or cable/harness assembly.
Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will write production plans and optimize production flows to meet program deliverables. • You will determine the need for tooling and make recommendations on the design of required tools. • You will troubleshoot production issues on the shop floor, work with assembly and test technicians to ensure hardware producibility, and respond to manufacturing assistance requests. • You will aid manufacturing engineering in incorporating engineering design changes to support a closed loop change management lifecycle and implementing process improvements to gain efficiencies. • You will support production operations in prioritizing work in process to meet program delivery schedules. • You will analyze shop performance and support Quality Assurance in root cause investigations and corrective action planning for process-related defects. • Experience with high-mix production operations. • Demonstrated experience writing manufacturing work instructions. • Experience developing rework instructions, repair directions, or flow alteration records. • Experience in SAP is a plus. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office. • Electrical assembly, circuit card assembly, and/or cable & harness assembly experience. • Experience interpreting manufacturing work instructions. • Experience reading engineering drawings and/or analyzing design documentation. • This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to able obtain a Secret security clearance and be a US Citizen.
