The Product Development Associate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our products through various inspection processes and document control. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for maintaining quality control procedures.
Supports elements of the supplier quality system including supplier product re-evaluation, non-conforming material containment, root cause analysis (NCMR), and other corrective and preventive initiatives.
Supports Quality Engineer in implementing Company specifications and engineering change control.
Improve Internal Quality processes, such as inbound inspections, returns/claims handling, measuring, and monitoring processes.
Assist Quality Management to support other departments, Supply Chain, Customer Care, and Warehouse, to improve internal processes,
Supports Quality Engineer for new product development initiatives, e.g. data and records from similar product current quality performance.
Support the development and maintenance of internal technical specifications and testing methods commensurate with tolerance sensitivities and part complexity.
Initiate product/process reviews related to warranty claims/customer complaints.
Support Quality Engineer for trend analysis and establish continuing manufacturing and quality metrics.
Support and conduct routine reviews through random audits of the related processes and products., e.g. stock, stock returns, packing, and identification.
Initiate periodic communication with internal customers and operations to support quality objectives that are clearly identified and acted upon.
Supports internal customers and operations to improve and enhance staff qualification for quality-related activities.
Complies with federal, state, local, and anti-trust requirements.
Protects operations by keeping business strategies, trade secrets, and financials confidential.
Ensure compliance with anti-trust regulations, including communication of concerns or unethical activities.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
