Job Summary
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The position of Administrator, Instructional Services (IS) is responsible for the purpose(s) of planning, implementing, administering, and maintaining assigned programs for districts throughout the county; serving as a resource for state content standards, instructional strategies and responding to data that effectively support student achievement in school districts throughout Riverside County utilizing past leadership successes, current research, and other model practices. The position of Administrator, IS in collaboration with other IS team members, provides support and technical assistance in the areas of leadership, program development, school-wide change, school culture, multiliteracy, and professional learning community development as well as other duties assigned. This position is designated as a Certificated Management position and is part of the Management Leadership Team.
Requirements / Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of three years of successful teaching or services experience and at least two years of administrative experience which would demonstrate exposure to and utilization of required skills, knowledge and abilities in performing job-related duties and responsibilities in a K-12 public education setting. Experience supporting EL Learners is required. Dual language experience is desirable.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required. Master’s degree is desirable.

• Possession of a valid California Teaching Credential and a valid Clear California Administrative Services Credential. You must provide copies of credentials as required for the position with your application materials to qualify for the position
