Responsibilities:
Develop engineering designs, including detailed shop drawings and comprehensive documentation.
Collaborate with Sales and R&D to fulfill mechanical design requirements and innovations.
Liaise with external vendors for outsourced components, ensuring quality steel, aluminum, and wood sourcing.
Provide on-site support for project installations, ensuring seamless implementation.
Participate in a dynamic design team, contributing to the evolution of product designs.
Create precise CAD drawings, facilitating effective customer presentations and production processes.
Generate accurate Bills of Material, supporting project accuracy and efficiency.
Coordinate seamlessly with cross-departmental teams to meet project specifications.
Address inquiries from Vendors and Fabricators, ensuring clarity and efficacy.
Resolve technical and scheduling challenges across departments, adapting strategies to meet project timelines.
Maintain updated mechanical system documents reflecting both "As-built" and "As-installed" conditions.
Produce comprehensive Operation and Maintenance manuals for delivered systems.
Embrace additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned, contributing to team synergy and project success.
Requirements:
Associates or BSME degree, or equivalent practical experience.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in either Solidworks or Solidedge.
Familiarity with PDMworks, facilitating efficient data management.
Strong grasp of basic mechanics and mechanical hardware used in material handling systems.
Direct hands-on experience with AutoCAD.
Capability to comprehend and create detailed mechanical drawings.
In-depth understanding of production processes, methods, and technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in resolving technical and schedule-related challenges.
