A day in the life:
As a Commercial Lines Account Executive within the Business Insurance Life Sciences team, you’ll utilize your exceptional client servicing skills to maintain and expand client relationships within your own assigned book of accounts and also provide professional insurance services to our clients by coordinating with Producers, Underwriters, Service Team members and other departments too. This includes, but not limited to, providing coverage analysis and risk management recommendations, completing applications, preparing submissions, negotiating coverage and pricing with carriers and preparing proposals according to agency standards. You may also be called on to resolve issues related to billing, make policy changes, respond to policy coverage related questions in a timely and professional manner, and prepare exposure comparison, premium comparisons, renewal reviews and renewal proposals.
All Account Executives are expected to participate in continuing education to maintain a P&C license, stay current with all regulations and enhance insurance knowledge.
Our future colleague:
We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes the following:
- 10+ years’ insurance industry experience with at least 3 years’ experience in a brokerage environment. Experience working with Life Sciences clients highly preferred.
- Active Property & Casualty license
- Experience in managing assigned accounts through the client life cycle, including the renewal process.
- Establishing the renewal strategy in concert with Producer, Service and Placement team
- Endeavor to expand services at each renewal through upselling and cross selling.
- Securing exposure information from client in concert with the Producer and identifying any coverage deficiencies.
- Client contract review and review audits and endorsement
- Prepare, maintain and execute a service calendar in collaboration with client, service team and producer;
- Driving the pre-renewal/stewardship, renewal proposal presentation, claim review and loss control meetings
- Ability to address and endeavor to resolve client issues
- Innovative thought leadership as market trends
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration or other related fields
- Insurance designations

The applicable base salary range for this role is $84,700 to $180,800. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
