Position: CNC Machinist
Location: Long Beach, CA. 90813
Hours:? 6:00am to 2:30pm
And
2:00pm to 10:30pm
Schedule:? Monday through Friday (OT Saturday as needed 7am to 12/noon)
Starting Pay: $23.00 to $28.00/per hour DOE (Depending On Experience)

Minimum Requirements:
Must have 3 years prior Forklift experience.
Must provide a Forklift Certification.
Must have 3 years prior experience in the ability to read, understand work instructions, blueprint, schematics.
Must have 3 years prior experience in Machine Operation or Machine Set up.
Must have 3 years prior experience in tooling, use of calipers, micrometers and/or thread gauges.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. on occasionally without assistance.
Must be able to lift 1 to 15lbs several times per shift without assistance.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work well with others.
Summary
- CNC Machinists use a variety of CNC lathes andmills andwork with graphite manufacturing parts for various industries, including aerospace, by manufacturing procedures as approved by the FAA.
- Review blueprints and drawings to determine set-up procedures, machining sequences, and dimensions.
- Must be able to set up jobs by loading programs, selecting fixtures, part holders, and tooling machine parts to specifications.
- Familiarity with CNC machine controls and their functions (adjusting tool offset, indicating fixtures or parts, changing tools, and following along with the part program).
- Monitor tools and attachments to ensure parts are properly cooled and lubricated.
- Knowledge of feeds, speeds, and surface finishes related to blueprint requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and geometric tolerances.
- Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, dial bores, thread gauges, andbasicmeasuring tools.
- Full compliance with clients pre-screening and safety requirements is a pre-employment requirement.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour
