Supply Chain Advisor, Business Consulting - Supply Chain & Operations (Transformation) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1506394), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Los Angeles, CA.
Help clients understand the health of their supply chains. Analyze supply chain processes to identify and recommend changes. Analyze supply chain data and apply analytic methods to advise clients on how to understand, predict, and control supply chain operations and processes throughout the end-to-end supply chain. Advise on Rapid Supply Chain Assessment, Sales & Operations Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Global Trade Optimization (GTO), and/or Operating Model Effectiveness (OME). Conduct current state assessments of the supply chain. Assist clients in setting outputs to satisfy planned sales, purchasing materials, and logistics flow of product between origin and consumption. Advise on improvements to supply chains in emerging markets, and work with sustainability teams to integrate environmental, sustainable and low carbon aspects into end-to-end supply chains. Help clients incorporate tax, customs, and security constraints within a global supply chain, and reduce tax burdens.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate advisory, consulting, and/or industry experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field and 4 years of advisory, consulting, and/or industry work experience.
Must have experience in one of the following:
- 4 years of combined experience in one or more of the following supply chain and operational areas that impact the supply chain function: assessments, supply chain strategy, operating model design, distribution/logistics, network optimization, inventory management, procurement and sourcing, lean-six sigma, sales and operations planning, and/or operations cost reduction ; OR
- 2 years of experience providing advisory and/or consulting services in 4 of the following supply chain and operational areas that impact the supply chain function: assessments, supply chain strategy, operating model design, distribution/logistics, network optimization, inventory management, procurement and sourcing, lean-six sigma, sales and operations planning, or operations cost reduction.
Must have 4 years of experience using Excel, Macros, Pivot Tables.
Must have 4 years of experience writing and delivering presentations for executives and Senior Managers in Power Point.
Must have experience in one of the following:
- 2 years of experience with conducting and delivering supply chain analytical results; OR
- 2 years of experience with simulation tools and supply chain analytical tools.
Must have 2 years of experience managing staff on projects and providing direction to team members.
Must have facilitated at least 4 multifunctional workshops.
Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
