Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Quality Test Engineer Intern performs failure analysis on field returns down to the component level to return the root cause. The Quality Test Engineer I works closely with other engineers and escalates complex failures to more senior team members.
Perform failure analysis on field returns down to the component level to determine the root cause
Use instruments like Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, power supplies, frequency generators, etc. to recreate problems and determine the root cause.
Analyze product complaints. Confirm complaint and determines root causes, when possible.
Collaborate with appropriate technical, Clinical, Field/Sales and/or returned product analysis employees to ensure complaint investigations are adequate, accurate, detailed and timely.
Capture/document test results in an organized manner.
Effectively escalate complex investigations to more senior engineers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Role Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably a medical or technical degree.

Target Pay Range
$20/hr- $25/hr The final starting salary offer to the successful candidate will be determined by evaluating several factors, such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, alignment with market data, and geography. *Nevro is a multi-state employer, so the target pay range may increase or decrease depending on the city/state.
