We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Process Analyst (Facilitator) to work within our Airport Business Operations team. This position is on site with the Airport Operations Department located in Palmdale, CA.
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for analyzing business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business processing systems. Determines system requirements/estimates such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Performs activities which involve the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and three or more years of experience as a business process analyst working with computerized management systems to include, but not limited to, product life cycle systems. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
Must have a good knowledge of business process/life cycle management principles, theories and concepts and a general understanding of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
Must be customer focused and possess:
The ability to use independent judgment in developing solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Good verbal and written communications and presentations skills to accurately document and report findings to a variety of audiences.
Good interpersonal skills to influence and guide employees, managers, customers, and other external parties.

Good computer skills with Microsoft Suite and SAP products.
Experience coordinating data flow between various stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and proofreading experience.
Experience building and/or managing a relational database.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks, competing priorities, and urgent deadlines.
Experience with various estimating methodologies (parametric, analogous, expert judgement, etc.).

Prior experience with cost estimating and proposal preparation.
Prior experience with proposal fact finding and negotiation.
