Inventory Managementa. Reviews and monitors par levels b. Reconciles inventory counts in appropriate systems c. Properly manages vial inventory (e.g. lot management access) d. Ordering/receiving medications and supplies e. Tech-Check-Tech certified (per area) f. Accurately and efficiently completes cycle counts and inventory audits g. Troubleshoots, reports, and follows-up with medication storage devices (e.g. refrigerators) h. Resolves controlled access cabinet discrepancy reports i. Reviews and addresses recall notification requests
Area Maintenancea. Equipment maintenance (e.g. balances, printers, computers, scanners) b. Process review and document updates (e.g. SOPs, competencies) c. CADD pump and supply management d. REQUIREMENTS
Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education:Technical School
Certification:Current Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
Experience:Two years pharmacy technician experience in a hospital, infusion center or retail pharmacy.
Preferred Experience:IV sterile preparation experience, ACPE IV Sterile Products Competency
