Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Food Service, plan, organize, and participate in the various functions related to the administration and operation of the Food Services department; assist in the development, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of programs, policies and processes; prepare, maintain and analyze a variety of records, files and reports related to accounting, purchasing, program compliance and human resources management.

SELECTION PROCEDURES:
This is a PROMOTIONAL and OPEN recruitment to establish an eligibility list and fill a vacancy.
The eligibility list will be used to fill vacancies that may occur during the life of the eligibility list. Per agreement with our classified bargaining unit laid-off CVUHSD classified employees have a preference for reemployment to any vacant position for which they are qualified and apply. In a promotional and open recruitment, the promotional list shall take precedence. If the promotional list contains fewer than three eligible and willing ranks, certification of additional ranks shall be made from the open list.
The examination process will consist of a written examination tentatively scheduled during the week of July 15 – 19, 2024, and an oral technical interview tentatively scheduled during the week of July 22 – 26, 2024. Applicants will be notified of their application status via email.
