The Strategy and Operations team supports Commerce, Ads, and Geo product partnerships within Knowledge and Information Partnerships. As the Strategy and Operations lead you will collaborate with cross-functional leadership to deliver on how to drive growth and scale for Geo. You will act as a thought partner to the Geo Partnerships team leader, helping elevate the strategic agenda for the business and support them with business operations processes.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$261,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Partner with the Geo Partnerships leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders to develop the Geo partnerships and ecosystem strategy, growth drivers, and business plan.
- Identify specific product, partner, and ecosystem opportunities to deliver against product area goals and support growth objectives.
- Manage business operations, interface with cross-functional and regional teams, and organize around impact.
- Support the Geo Partnerships lead on organization, operations, and people topics as needed.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, global business operations, chief of staff, or equivalent.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product teams to launch partner integrations or go-to-market strategies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading strategy work on ambiguous business problems.
- Experience influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders in an organization and influencing without direct authority.
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment, balance competing priorities, and manage multiple time-sensitive projects.
- Ability to manage projects and work with limited guidance.
- Ability to craft and communicate insights from data, with a passion for metrics/understanding trends and patterns in business performance.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
