The University of Virginia's Department of Human Resources is seeking Recruiters in the Health System. The role exercises significant independence and autonomy, collaborating with senior HR leadership on areas of greater complexity. Experience in high volume position recruitment, the ability to create and implement recruitment plans, and passive candidate sourcing via multiple venues/platforms. Documented healthcare recruitment experience to include sourcing, interviewing and recommending external and internal candidates for various levels of support, professional and management-level positions is highly preferred. This is a term-limited position (with an end date of June 30, 2025).
Responsibilities include:
- Recruiting for high volume/hard to recruit positions;
- Sourcing candidates using a variety of tools including social media;
- Implementing and creating recruitment plans;
- Keeping accurate and concise records concerning all phases of the recruitment process;
- Recruiting via virtual events, colleges, technical schools and job fairs;
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
UVA Human Resources is located in Charlottesville, VA. This position Is open to full-time remote work. UVA Human Resources is team and partnership oriented. Minimum requirements:
- High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred. One year of relevant experience is required.
- Preferred experience: Four years of experience in a professional position, Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with one year of experience. Experience using Workday or other ATS.
