The Social Media Manager will, under the direction of the Sr. Director of Brand Marketing, own the development and execution of a multi-platform social media marketing strategy to grow the AutoCamp Hospitality Group brands. This role will create, measure, and execute strategies for managing all social profiles, including starting accounts from scratch and building large-scale followings through organic and paid means. Please note that this is a remote position with the opportunity to travel to our locations 25% of the year.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Oversee all AutoCamp and Field Station social channels including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
Set and maintain the social media strategy, while building a measurement plan to ensure that the social media content strategy is rooted in performance, evaluated correctly, and demonstrates business value.
Develop a multi-platform editorial calendar alongside the marketing team that aligns with brand awareness, conversion, and equity initiatives
Manage the day-to-day operation of our social platforms, their content and performance, including publishing daily content on all accounts, responding to comments and messages, and ensuring community health through engagement
Regularly utilize new features of social media platforms to grow engagement and tell the story of our brand
Analyze community, cultural, technological and market trends to inform strategic and creative development for social content
Build and manage social media content calendar on a monthly basis to give the team ample time to review and approve.
Partner with graphic design team to create custom content for social channels.
Collaborate with and support creative partners in content creation and optimization
Partner with digital team to ensure content is optimized across channels, including both paid and organic content that aligns with our social media strategy
Work alongside Marketing team to showcase partnerships, run co-marketing campaigns, manage influencer relations, and facilitate giveaways
Monitor cultural moments, inclusivity initiatives, and environmental stewardship organizations, messaging our brand stance on each to our communities and identifying opportunities to partner with like-minded brands
Manage influencer content, posting guidelines, and relationships, and drive strategy around influencer marketing and UGC
Develop and execute social media giveaway strategies in collaboration with brand partners to enhance engagement and brand visibility.
Community Engagement: Actively manage and respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions across all social media platforms.
Requirements
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
2-4+ years of relevant social media marketing experience
2+ years of editing and social content creation experience
Comprehensive understanding of and fluency across social platforms, including video-based social media platforms, features, and formats, specifically TikTok, Instagram, and Instagram Reels
Excellent writing skills and ability to embody a brand’s persona in a public forum
Resourceful and creative storyteller, with innovative ideas for reaching audiences
Experience building social followings from zero to 100,000
Experience building and managing a social media strategy including editorial calendars, moderation, social listening, sentiment reports, and trend spotting
Experience creating and optimizing campaigns across multiple platforms while maintaining brand equity
Interest in ideating and creating new, innovative social content based on best practices and trends
Strong attention to detail with high personal standards for accuracy and quality of work
Exceptional communication skills; ability to simplify and present complex analytical concepts to an executive audience
Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within compressed timeframes
Strongly Preferred:
Experience working at a multi-location company with a strong national brand presence
Experience working with influencers through social media platforms
Experience in trendspotting new social media platforms and jumping on new opportunities for community building
Experience speaking to an outdoor audience
Photography and content creation experience a nice to have
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES
Required: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or other related fields
