Day to Day Duties:

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and other clinical areas
• Document patient data including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes
• Ensure all necessary patient records are available prior to treatments or procedures
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as necessary
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures, administer injections under supervision
• Maintain strict exam/treatment room disinfection protocols
• Handle patient calls for referrals and information, phone in prescriptions, and manage other patient communications
• Perform clerical tasks such as typing, filing, faxing, chart preparation, and reception duties
• Adhere to compliance programs, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards

What are the qualifications?

• High school diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Diploma
• Current CPR/BLS certificate
