Team Leader
The Team Leader will assist the General Manager with directing the daily operations of the FOH restaurant, ensuring compliance with the company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting and retention of team members, and financial accountability. Managers will ensure that the highest quality food and services are delivered to each guest.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide direction, leadership and mentoring to all FOH staff during all shifts.
- Assist with disciplinary of team members, including employee coaching and termination
- Ensure fast, accurate service, with positive and polite guest interaction
- Be the face of Pacific Catch, Inc.: introducing the food, inviting the guests in and helping them navigate ordering, making sure orders are fulfilled quickly
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training new team members
- Conduct inventory and cash control procedures
- Ensure that all staff stations, service areas, dining room, outdoor seating, and tables are set for the shift and that the tables and floor are clean
- Handle guest complaints with professional and sincere attention
- Completion of daily, weekly and monthly operational, administrative and HR-related duties
- Review and understand P& L statements, apply knowledge to make improvements in your area of responsibility
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of full-service restaurant hospitality experience, with 2 years’ in management
- You’ve managed other successful, high volume restaurants in an innovative chain
- You possess a proven track record of effectively and empathetically training, mentoring and managing hourly employees
- Technology savvy: comfortable with MS Office, Google Apps/programs, & Toast, use of tablets and/or handheld devices, and an understanding of social media outlets
- Full understanding of a P&L statement, ask the right questions, and you look for opportunities to improve sales or manage costs
- Holds themselves to high standards and expects the same from their team; leads by example
- Passionate about protecting our oceans and environments
PHYSICAL
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
COMPENSATION
- $24.00 - $36.00 Per Hour
- This position will work an average of 5 hours of overtime per week based on company needs; please note: the pay scale provided includes the expected overtime rate. However, please be aware that there is no guarantee of hours for any Pacific Catch employee, as hours will be distributed based on business needs and may vary accordingly.
SCHEDULE
This is a full-time, hourly position, working a 40-hour week, plus 7.5 hours of scheduled overtime.
TRAINING
Training will be provided by Pacific Catch, Inc. at one of our Bay Area locations.
