Welcome to the Mount Pleasant School District! Mount Pleasant School District is a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade district with three Elementary Schools, one Middle School, and one Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade Dependent Charter School. Nestled in the East Foothills of San Jose, it prepares about 1,500 students for high school, college, and careers. The multitude of cultures, ethnic groups, and languages makes Mount Pleasant School District a rich atmosphere in which to learn, grow, and work. Parents and children take pride in their community and work together with the schools at all levels. The parents and staff hold high expectations for all students' academic and social development. Requirements / Qualifications

AA Degree or higher in ECE or related field with three (3) semester unit supervised field experience in ECE setting Child Development Teacher or Master Teacher Permit Any combination equivalent to twelve (12) units of ECE/ED including core courses A minimum of 175 days of 3+ hours per day within 4 years Proficiency in English, Bilingual Spanish (preferred) CPR/First Aid Certification
