Manufacturing Engineering Technician

JOB PURPOSE:

The  Engineering Technician at Sanmina will have the prime responsibility of supporting the process engineers.  Some duties include , but not limited to: 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Disposition of jobs on hold for eng dispo. Support engineering experiments, data collection and basic analysis -   The new focus teams will need to do quite a bit of experiments as part of their charter, the tech will  be a key player in setting up the experiments and gathering the data. Help implement equipment and operational improvements. Support FA activities

• Gathering data as directed for root cause analysis
• Routine process audits
• Routine chemical lab analysis
• Cross sections  and analysis
• Assist with product  through critical processes
• Assist with DOE efforts 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• 2 year degree preferred. Willing to consider a combination of education and experience.
• Previous exposure with Military, ITAR, and/or IPC Standards is strongly desired.
• Must be computer literate and be able to perform basic computer functions and programs such as Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to successfully interface with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams 
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and work in a chemical environment.

Salary Range(annual): $41600 - $52000
