Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Track, evaluate, and monitor student progress and completion of all confidential forms associated with PLNU, practicum sites and state-required documentation in Tevera.
Maintain all student documentation and files.
Organize and assist the on-site clinic, CER, with Pre-Practicum orientation for new practicum students.
Support the Director of Clinical Training in organizing various orientation events and Practicum Fair for all practicum students.
Supervise Practicum student scheduling and placements.
Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Training in reviewing Pre-Practicum and Practicum readiness
Schedule and facilitate quarterly meetings with CER/Pre-practicum partners to discuss student progression and clinical site matters.
Coordinate Interprofessional Experience (IPE) with other College of Health Sciences programs and faculty
Facilitate communications with students about IPE events and attend meetings
Assist with program events
Other duties as required.
Special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in higher education.
Proficiency and (or) the potential to understand Google and Microsoft suites, zoom, social media and other platforms used in the university.
Three years of increasingly responsible clerical/bookkeeping experience in an academic setting.
Ability to maintain confidentiality requirements and procedures, including HIPPA and FERPA.
Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including public speaking skills.
A positive attitude and professional work ethic.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to take direction as well as show initiative and work independently
Demonstrated skill in working with diverse populations.
Accuracy and a strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work in an environment of frequent interruptions.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to travel between multiple educational sites.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work is primarily sedentary and may require sitting for extended periods of time.
Use of computer equipment: computer keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
Vision to read documents, email, and other correspondence, and reports on paper and computer monitor.
Hearing and speaking to communicate effectively with others in person and by phone.
Will also stand, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 20 lbs throughout the day.
