Eastern Sports Management is currently accepting applications for District Property Manager for the Fredericksburg, Virginia and Hagerstown, Maryland areas. This position is based in Stafford, Virginia at the Jeff Rouse Swim & Sports Center. The District Property Manager is responsible for maintaining the entire sports facility, all interior operations, exterior landscaping, and parking areas at the two (2) properties in the Fredericksburg Virginia District. Other areas of responsibility include the physical building structures, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment, hazard systems, life safety equipment, electrical, kitchen and laundry, exercise equipment, and pool/splash park upkeep. The District Property Manager also will direct the housekeeping staff at each property and ensure housekeeping standards are met and/or exceeded. Day to day management will include delegating work assignments, monitoring and controlling parts and labor expenditure, administering outside engineering vendor contracts, and selecting, training, and developing employees. This position will also be responsible for keeping all records up to date to comply with company, local, state, and federal guidelines and/or regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Bachelor degree in a related engineering/property management subject area is preferred
- Previous experience as a Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager required
- Trade experience of 3-5 years preferred
- Ability to travel between properties is required
- Valid drivers license and transportation is required
- Proficiency using a windows and/or google platform
- Proficient in English with great spoken and written communication skills required
- Weekend and holiday availability (as necessary) is required
- Experience working with electrical, mechanical, life safety systems, preventative maintenance systems, etc. vendors.
- Experience getting quotes and vetting vendors for price and quality
- Proven budget management, cost control, and financial responsibility experience is preferred
- Pool operation and maintenance experience is preferred
- Ability to communicate professional and effectively
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Environmental Setting
The District Property Manager normally works in a temperature and humidity-controlled indoor aquatics environment. Frequent exposure to outdoor ambient conditions is expected

- Exposure to pool chemicals (e.g. chlorine, sodium bicarbonate, etc.)(applies only
properties with Aquatics Departments)
- Exposure to loud machinery (pumps, blowers, fans, etc)
- Exposure to energized electric circuits
- Work in high elevations utilizing ladders, scaffolding, or scissor lifts.
- Ambient noise levels are normally moderate to loud (cheering spectators, etc)
