Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Conduct new hire benefits orientation; manage new hire paperwork and serve as a trusted advisor for all new hires.
Lead the corporate social committee. Coordinate and manage all company-wide events to include the annual summer outing, annual holiday party and many other ad hoc events throughout the year.
Coordinate and create HR communication pieces. Serve as the liaison between Human Resources and the communications department on Human Resources communication initiatives.
Develop and coordinate employee volunteerism opportunities.
Manage security administration process with business areas and IT. Ensures all new hire, termination and change paperwork is processed timely and accurately.
Provide support services including producing assigned and ad hoc reports, updating HRIS information, distributing information, and providing other administrative duties.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education
BA/BS Degree in HR or business-related field of study required; PHR and/or SHRM-CP designation preferred
A minimum of 1 - 2 years of HR experience
Working knowledge of ADP desired
Experience planning events strongly preferred
Superior communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to understand, respect and communicate with all levels
The ability to handle multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
Results oriented, strong communicator, strong work ethic
