Involves designing, conducting, promoting, evaluating, and supporting health professions education programs in compliance with organizational objectives and nationally accepted accreditation standards and requirements. Supports learners (including but not limited to faculty, residents, clinical fellows, graduate or undergraduate learners, and practicing or licensed professionals) in areas such as curriculum, teaching and learning activities, scheduling, core competencies, assessment, and evaluations. Coordinates all activities associated with the ongoing administration of health professions education programs.
The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at UCSF is seeking a Health Professional Education Specialist 2 to provide intermediate administrative and operational support to the Department’s clinical training programs in medical student education and residency training programs. Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however, a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
