Your Role
The Provider Engagement team drives partnerships with providers that support membership growth and retention goals for the Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan (BSCPHP) Medi-Cal Program. The Outreach Manager - Provider Engagement, Experienced will report to the Manager of Provider Engagement as part of the Community and Provider Engagement team (CAPE). In this role you will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with providers and practice staff using an account management approach, providing assistance to address member and provider issues as a first level of escalation, and help to implement initiatives to improve provider satisfaction, experience, quality and health equity.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for educating providers, practice staff and potential or existing members about BSCPHP programs, services, updated policies, and new initiatives in a variety of authorized settings
Provide customer service support and assistance to rectify prospect, member and provider service problems
Develop and implement outreach strategies (including field-based approaches) to build relationships and partnerships with providers and practice staff that support membership growth and retention goals
Assist with implementing quality, customer service and other related initiatives to improve provider performance, satisfaction and experience
Participate in special events to promote membership growth and retention
Serve as a knowledgeable resource person to providers and practice staff about health plan and community resources
Represent the Provider Engagement Team at various internal and external meetings with provider groups, industry associations, and other related stakeholders
Track and report monthly engagements and correlated outcomes (demonstrate results)
Discover and report out competitive findings in the marketplace
