SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The purpose of a Benefits/Compensation Advisor is to provide strategic compensation solutions for a wide variety of complex compensation related issues and communicates the District’s total wellbeing initiatives. Delivers high quality work and continuous process improvement recommendations. Analyzes, researches, compiles data for, and prepares various statistical, administrative and/or financial reports as required. Ensures that the necessary human capital data is being tracked and accurately maintained.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Public or Business Administration, Human Resources or a closely related field plus a minimum of four (4) years of compensation experience to include job analysis, salary reviews, market studies, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and compensation experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position. OR a combination of equivalent education and/or paid, directly relevant compensation experience for a total of eight (8) years. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Professional Human Resources (PHR), and/or International Professional Management Association (IPMA-CP) certifications preferred.
