The Opportunity
Under general supervision, as Inventory Control Clerk II/Driver you are responsible for the transport of materials between all three local warehouses and reviewing the stock levels of the Kanban. You are handling materials timely, safely, and accurately. You run related transactions in GenMark’s ERP system, in support of production, quality, R&D, and administrative functions. Also, you are:
Staging materials for production work orders; this includes, but need not be limited to, pull and stage materials, transport materials between departments, transact issued and returned materials in the computer system
Transporting and store quarantined & released materials throughout the warehouse or other designated locations. You physically move material including loading and unloading of company vehicle
Putting away released raw materials and manufactured products in the proper locations and temperatures, and ensure immediate segregation of non-conforming materials into quarantine location. Properly handle and store hazardous materials, and follow federal and state regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous and infectious substances
Assisting with the daily cycle count program by verifying counts and reconciling discrepancies under the guidance of the Warehouse Lead worker. Accurately perform transactions using computerized inventory system
Reviewing Kanban levels in all buildings, replenish as needed, notify appropriate parties when unable to replenish
Who you are
High School Diploma
Four (4) years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment performing various warehousing procedures
Must have a current valid California driver’s license, current auto insurance and a clean driving record
Previous experience in an FDA-regulated environment is highly preferred
Behaviors, competencies, and qualities of the ideal applicant.
Solid understanding of computerized inventory control system (ERP system). Computer skills with word processor and spreadsheets
Following all standard operation procedures and GMP and SOX guidelines for all designated functions
Operate material handling equipment
Strong math and problem-solving skills
The expected salary range for this position based on California is 40,000.00 - 74,200.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
