Toll Brothers, America's leading builder of luxury homes, seeks an Accountant to join our team in our Corporate office in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Land Development team as an Accountant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring adherence to company guidelines by developing and implementing procedures and policies. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the accounting aspects of a to-be-implemented payment management system, facilitating e?cient vendor disbursements, and creating e?ciency through e?ective communication and collaboration.

• Assists in developing and implementing procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines
• Responsible for the accounting over a to-be-implemented payment management system
  • Create communities
  • Approve and disburse Funds
  • E1 Batch review
• Review of reports to ensure compliance of accounting policies
  • Research discrepancies of ?nancial information and/or documentation
• Payment match veri?cation
• Serve as accounting contact for vendors – able to answer questions / resolve issues
  • Able to research payment to contract discrepancies and assist with A/P resolution
• Assist with Land Development division A/P invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Streamline invoice processing
• Respond to audit requests from internal and external auditors while maintaining SOX appropriate controls
• All other duties as assigned

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of related experience
• Extensive knowledge of accounting and accounts payable procedures
• Working knowledge of Microsoft o?ce programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP

Preferred:

• Advanced abilities with Excel
• General ledger (coding and monitoring) experience is a plus
• JD Edwards and Enterprise One experience (in the homebuilding industry and added plus)
