REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Copies of College Transcripts (48 semester units required) -or-
Associate of Arts Degree, Associate of Science Degree or a higher degree
-or- if you are a current Garvey School District Classified Employee, successfully have passed the PTAP, the Garvey School District Local Assessment that was previously offered.
Any combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates possession of the knowledge and ability to perform the duties of this position
A typical qualifying entrance background is experience working with students with disabilities, including students with autism or emotional disturbance and some demonstrated experience implementing Applied Behavior analysis (ABA) based behavior intervention techniques including Discrete Trial Training (DTT).
