SALARY: The salary range for this position is $50,815.18 to $83,252.20 for Schedule A, and $50,815.18 to $79,089.59 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

Vicinage 13 (Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties) General Operations Division seeks a highly motivated self-starter with strong administrative, organizational, and customer service skills who is committed to providing excellent administrative and support services. This position requires the individual to multi-task and work in a fast-paced work environment where receiving and providing cross- training is an integral part of the job.
Under the general direction of the Operations Division Manager (Court Executive 2B) or other supervisory personnel, the selected individual will use strong total quality management and technical skills, strong writing and verbal communication skills, effective multi-tasking, keen attention to detail, and exceptional organization and customer service skills to provide a wide range of administrative functions in various areas of operations.
The selected individual will be responsible for duties including: coordinating transcript/audio requests; coordinating interpreting services; providing logistical coordination and support for jury trials and special court events; communicating and establishing working relationships with state agencies, Judges, Sheriff’s Department, management, and outside vendors and agencies; maintaining and creating standard operating procedures, preparing reports and proposals; records management and inventory; and arranging training for Vicinage staff as needed. The selected individual will be responsible for providing guidance to staff on technical matters and equipment; coordinating work among team members, analyzing work processes/methods, establishing workflow systems/procedures, evaluating program/unit/team performance, giving advice/assisting staff with work in progress, and performing other administrative and operational duties as assigned. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
