Job Summary
Currently we have one open position in Clarksburg, California at Delta High, and Clarksburg Middle School. This position teaches Physics, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Life Science course. The schools are on a block schedule with teachers teaching three periods a day and having prep for one period daily. These two schools sit right next to each other on the same block, which is located 14 miles from Elk Grove, & the South, West and Downtown Sacramento areas.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Possession of a valid Single Subject Science credential with English Learner Authorization issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing required.
Desired Qualifications: Ability to teach science to secondary students.

ABOUT THE DISTRICT
The River Delta District Office is located in Rio Vista which is 45 miles northeast of San Francisco and 35 miles south-west of Sacramento.
River Delta is a K-12 district with an enrollment of 1,880. The District has 8 small schools: (4) K-6 elementary schools; (2) middle schools; and (2) high schools serving the communities of Clarksburg, Hood, Courtland, Walnut Grove, Ryde, Locke, Isleton, Rio Vista, Birds Landing, and Collinsville.
The River Delta Unied School District sits in three counties – Sacramento, Solano, and Yolo. Although it is a tri-county district, it is served by the Sacramento County Office of Education.
River Delta Unifed School District is committed to providing a quality education for all students and has high standards and expectations for students' success in school.
