Job Abstract

The Squires Group has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Strategic Communications Writer to work on a Federal Project in Arlington, VA (with some WFH opportunities.) In this role, you will work with analysts to help them edit their reports, provide clear and concise overviews of the studies, and provide actionable recommendations for communication campaigns. Familiarity with statistical analysis and survey processes are helpful – but not required. An interest in foreign affairs is preferred but not required.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an Active Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in English, Journalism, or Communications
• Expert at proofreading and copy editing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex topics
• Strong attention to detail and ability to QA content for errors and accuracy
• Able to collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues
• Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
